In French, the saying goes: " Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît pas"
Today I came to the realization that, the heart is a powerful thing.
Often, we try to reason with our feelings and try to put them in little boxes.
Often, we try to categorize the way we feel in order to make it logical.
However, today, it clicked.
No matter how hard we try to fight what we may feel
They remain present, regardless of how far we try to push them.
It's pointless to try to understand the whys and hows of feelings of the heart.
A friend once told me, "You don't try to understand love. You just love"
I think my friend just like Blaise Pascal was right.
So if you are out there, and you are trying your hardest
To ignore what you are going through and put your heart into an icebox,
My advice to you is to stop questioning and face these given feelings.
